1. Primary Fixes To speed up PC

First of all i will personally recommend to download CCleaner it will remove unnecessary files on your PC which are created during internet surfing and software installations. It also fix registery errors that are very annoying.

It contains a fully featured registry cleaner. CCleaner is a freeware tool to download.

2. Defragmentation.

If you are using windows xp then you need time to time defragmentation. To download Defraggler Click Here Defraggler is again a freeware tool you can use to speedup PC. There is no need of defragmentation in windows vista because of NTFS format of C drive.

If you have a lot of startup programs it takes time for windows to load Press windows button + R then type msconfig click on startup tab and uncheck the programs you don’t require.

You can alter this by going to Run >> regedit.exe >> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\ and change this value to 1000.
